Is it REALLY Unattractive for a 20 year old to have braces? Please tell me your thoughts!!!!

I am 20 years old and just started to have the money to get braces, what I'm wondering is that, well...will a lot of guys just dismiss me becuase of it, because i heard they though it was gross...

-Confidence is attractive

-Lack of confidence is unattractive

With confidence you can look just about any way and still be attractive.  So to answer your question braces on a 20 year old will only look unattractive on a person who doesn't wear them with confidence.  If you think you need braces then get them and just be yourself.  I'm sure that plenty of guys are attracted to you braces or none.

If you're really that worried... go with Invisalign.. Invisible braces :) They looks awesome! and they do the same job, but are clear! .. so do normal braces too.. i had them for a little over a year an they're cool! no one teased me at all. If anything, they're very shiny :)

It'll be over before you know it.  Besides, men usually aren't looking at your teeth, and if they do look there--well, crooked teeth are more unattractive than braces.
