  1. No I don't think so. I learnt guitar and Keyboard at the same time - The notes I learned from Keyboard helped me with guitar, and the rhythm from learning the guitar helped me with the keyboard. It's all on the same lines really. Just don't play them at the same time. =]

  2. honey if you are that talented you go for it ,you wont regret it good luck!!

  3. Not a bad idea, but it will take a lot of discipline, hard work, and money.

At a beginner level, you should be practicing each instrument at least 30 minutes a day on non-lesson days.  You'll probably have an hour lesson on each instrument, so that's a 15-hour per week commitment right there.  Also beginner teachers will charge anywhere from $25-50+ per hour.  Try calling area universities and asking if they have any undergrad or graduate students who would be able to teach you...lesson fees might be a little cheaper that way.

Good luck to you! You're very ambitious! :-)

  4. deffinatley not, both will complement each other with timing and learning time signatures. If you ever come to do studio recording with drums using a click track, you will infact wish you had learned the piano as well!

Another bonus is, you can play tepidly on the piano, to suddenly releasing all your bumph on the drums!

  5. no, drums will help with rhythm, piano will help with theory, and guitar is guitar. I learned guitar, drums, and keyboard at the same time, from the same teacher actually. I think it makes playing guitar a lot easier.
