Is it a bad idea to apply at the same job twice?

I applied at this clothing place in the middle of the summer. They never called back, but i think it was because they didn't need anyone else. I'm thinking of going and applying again to work for the fall and winter. Since a lot of people who worked there are from the city, and since summer is over i'm guessing they'll be leaving. Is it a bad idea to go an apply again, or is there another way i can do this to let them know i'm looking for a job?

Apply again and tell them that you have applied before, it shows determination and initiative

Not at all a bad idea.  Most stores don't keep applications on file for longer than a few months, so they probably don't even have your original one by now.  And you're right, with people leaving, they might have new openings.

No its a good idea. It shows that you have an interest and you want to be apart of their team. On the application, if it ask have you applied before, say yes. If not, note on your application that you did apply and would love an opportunity to work with them. If you dont hear from them this time, its okay to give them a call and ask for an update.
