  1. The banks make sure that there are at least two people counting the deposits from the atm machines. never the same two people. usually one is a bank officer or head teller I had a problem once where they said i did not deposit what i said thankfully they honored it and kept an eye the counters that were on duty that day and caught the person eventually' .besides there are cameras on the counting table to refer back to..

  2. NO NO NO NO NO - NEVER DEPOSIT CASH IN AN ATM - if it isn;t $100 bills - just keep it instead of depositing it when you'll probably just be withdrawing it from the ATM again in the near future anyway

  3. no it's not a bad idea.  tens of millions of people in the US including myself deposits cash via ATM machines.  every bank uses a "buddy system".  they have one person watching over the other and i'm sure they have cctv everywhere recording every move behind the ATM machine as well as every corner in the bank.  that's why it's always a good idea to print out a transaction receipt at the ATM in case you ever need it as proof.  i've never, ever had any problems before.
