Is it a bad idea to wear these socks in volleyball?

Question

i saw it on the internet and it said that they're silky and soft. i'm a little worried though because i think that if they're silky, they'll be slippery right ? ahah i dont know.

what kind of socks would you recommend ? also, can you give me a link to good volleyball shoes and kneepads ? thanks =)

no don't get silky socks !! wear those to casual days when your at home or out, you don't want to ruin them... anyways you should wear sports socks, they are thick socks that will soak your sweat and help you prevent blisters... they will give you comfort when you play volleyball... you can go to any sporting stores to buy good knee pads and shoes like Chicks, Big 5, or even Walmart... for shoes buy any running shoes or volleyball shoes... the right shoe is important so you can move fast to the ball and jump higher....

- Buy short thick sports socks (Kmart, Walmart, Target)

- Buy volleyball shoes or running shoes (Footlocker, Shoe City, Walmart)

- Buy any type of knee pads (Chicks, Big 5, Walmart)

pretty much can get it anywhere

i dont have any links, but if i were you, i would just wear normal, ankle socks that u should normally wear with tennis-shoes

the socks i got were knee high under armor socks... they're kind of silky but they work fine!!!

  

i got the navy/white adidas volleyball shoes on this link they're awesome but asicics are good too!!!

i get my shoes, kneepads, and spandex from that website. and sometimes my socks, but most of the time i get my tallsocks from joe's. i like softball socks. the ones without the line on the side. they're thick and tall enough.

i would also reccoment Asics socks from volleyball.com.

1) Hey here is a website for socks, shoes, and kneepads

- for socks go and click on clothing and then socks.

- for volleyball shoes click on footwear then volleyball shoes

-for kneepads click on protective, then knee pads.

I would suggest getting the long tube cotton socks (you can find them in the mens section of Target or Walmart). the longer socks are better because they will meet with your knee pads and give you more coverage when you are diving on the court and help revent floor burn.
