Is it a bad thing to wear tampons?

I mean I personally really like them. I used it for the first time last month and they were great. They got me through a really long movie shoot. But of course with a backup pad. But now I here ppl saying that its dangerous to wear? That you can get TSD Which i know of but it really freaks me out. I mean I change my tampons like every 4-5 hours or sooner. But now I'm nervous about wearing them again. Should I be???

I'm 13 if that matters lol
