  1. Every revealed religion from God has been one, people separated it into branches and sects. The following verse mentions this:

042.013 The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him).

    Al-Qur'an, 042.013 (Ash-Shura [Council, Consultation])

  2. No its not a big deal, end of the day its up to you what actually you want to be.Islam does not encourage sects as we are all divided today.

  3. some would say so but i say we are all muslims and we should be united as muslims and nothing else

  4. Assalamu Alaikum,

Changing the group or identity  is not as  big of deal  as obeying Allah's all commands and living our lives following the true straight path of Islam all our lives and then Allah blesses us with His reward of Jannah to us.

That will be the greatest  success for us.

    Wassalam, AM

  5. it doesnt matter..both follow hadith books. each have different set of hadith books far from Glorious Quran ..therefore it doesnt matter.

Tawheed is >>>>>>>> [3:18] GOD bears witness that there is no god except He, and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge. Truthfully and equitably, He is the absolute god; there is no god but He, the Almighty, Most Wise.

    and

[37:35] When they were told, "Laa Elaaha Ella Allah," they turned arrogant.

the above is Tawheed,,there IS NOT DEFINATION of TAWHEED other than the above verses...both sunis and shias reject THE TAWHEED,and follow their scholars who are their idols..like idiot taimiyah,bukhary,hurairah,muslim,shafi,s... all others which they follow blindly and obediently and fearfuly as if their idols have created the  heavens and earths

one other thing they both call each other kafirs (pagans)

according to their own doctrines i;e hadith books which they follow and uphold

why they call each other kafirs because their idols toldthem to do so in their man made doctrines ..

little they know they both are on the same side according to Glorious Quran as they reject Glorious Quran either partialy or wholely

    @ water lily ..commendable ..

@ beatalic thats  a wrong preception they do not follow the teachings of Glorious Quran they follow teachings of their own doctrines called hadith books, and they judge people according to their beliefs based on these lies ,fabrications, and conjecture in hadith books ,,dont go too far just look at the reply of abul harrith ,he has quoted all sorts of conjectures ,fabrications, lies, and laws based on his hadith books and NONE from Glorious Quran..!!!!

@ Ibrahim i wish we were all muslims but majority of us are More sunnis and more shias than MUSLIMS

  6. For a sunni who apostate into Raafidhee Shee'ism then it's a big enough deal of going from Tawheed to Shirk and from Belief to Kufr.

Imaam Ibn Battah mentioned in his al-Ibaanah (Number 193) that Aboo Bakr bin ‘Ayyaash said:

    لَا أُصَلِّي عَلَى رَافِضِيٍّ وَلَا حَرُورِيٍّ لِأَنَّ اَلرَّافِضِيَّ يَجْعَلُ عُمَرَ كَافِرًا وَالْحَرُورِيَّ يَجْعَلُ عَلِيًّا كَافِرًا

((I will not pray over the Raafidhee or the Harooree, because the Raafidhee makes ‘Umar a kaafir (disbeliever) and the Harooree makes ‘Alee a Kaafir))

Ibn Taymiyyah recorded in his Minhaaj as-Sunnah (1/69):

قال أبو حاتم الرازي سمعت يونس بن عبد الأعلى يقول قال أشهب بن عبد العزيز سئل مالك عن

الرافضة فقال لا تكلمهم ولا ترو عنهم فإنهم يكذبون وقال أبو حاتم حدثنا حرملة قال سمعت الشافعي يقول لم أر أحدا أشهد بالزور من الرافضة

((Aboo Haatim ar-Raazee (d.277H) said, "I heard Yoonus bin 'Abd al-A'laa saying: Ashhaab bin 'Abdul'Azeez asked Maalik (d.179H) about the Raafidah, so he said, "Do not speak to them and do not narrate from them, since they lie. And Aboo Haatim said, "Harmalah related to us saying: I heard ash-Shaafi'ee (d.204H) saying, "I have not seen anyone testifying for more evil than the Raafidah."))

    Imaam al-Bukhaaree said in his Khalq Af'aal al-'Ibaad 125,

((I do not give any consideration to prayer behind the Jahmee and the Raafidhee, nor praying behind a Jew or Christian. They are not to be greeted, nor are they to be visited, nor are they to be married, nor is their testimony accepted, nor are their sacrificed meat to be eaten.))

    Imaam as-Sam'aanee said in his Al-Insaab 6/341,

((And the Ummah has consensus on the takfeer of the Imaamiyyah (raafidah), because they believe that the Sahaabah deviated and they denounce their consensus and ascribe to them that which is not affirmed of them))

Ibn Hajar al-Haythamee mentioned in his Majma’ az-Zawaa’id (10/22) the narration of Ibn ‘Abbaas which was reported by at-Tabaraanee with a Hasan chain of narration that the Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

يا علي سيكون في أمتي قوم ينتحلون حب أهل البيت، لهم نبز يسمون الرافضة، قاتلوهم فإنهم مشركون

((O ‘Alee, there will be in my Ummah a group of people who will go beyond bounds in love of my family, they will have an insulting name, they will be known as the Raafidah. Fight them, for they are polytheists))

  7. Yes it is.

Because a specific 'Aqeedah is what defines a religion.

For example, in Judaism, the 'Aqeedah is almost same as Islaam in many ways, yet, it is not the same and that's why it is considered a different religion.

Just like that, a true Shia' and a true Sunni, who has knowledge of the 'Aqeedah of both identifies the other as *not Islaam*.  [not only innovation like in other sects, but considers the other as *not Islaam*.]

The general people on the other hand do not possess enough knowledge of their own 'Aqeedah and without knowledge, wants to excuse the others and therefore considers the above action as wrong.

To them it is to help not devide... yet the devision is already there.

Being considerate, or accepting from each other leads to change of their *Aqeedah or religion, and noone will settle for that ofcourse.  Like in surah al-kaafiroon.

...And I shall not worship that which you are worshipping. Nor will you worship that which I worship. To you be your religion, and to me my religion (Islâmic Monotheism)."

If a Shia switches  to Sunni, then they must take the Sunni shahaada.  This is because the correct 'Aqeedah is what makes one a Muslim, and lacking it makes up something other than that.

  8. Why would it be they both follow the teachings of the Quran, right?

  9. A Muslim (sunni ) who has developed the taste of Tawheed and Sunnah ,how can  commit Shirk & bidah

As shias R based on Shirk

bcoz they believe in Calling Ali ,Hussain (ra) in need. But a Muslim only Calls Allah (swt) alone.

A muslim is full of love of Sahaba and Ahl bayt ,how can even think of cursing them.

So this option is not possible But on the other hand a shia (if Allah wills ) can repent and adopt the path of Tawheed and Sunnah even Ali's (ra) path.

And can love Sahaba and Ahl bayt.

  10. Some will say yes, some will say no. I say ''kilwahad 3ala deno,

    Allahe'3ino''

  11. i dont think its a big deal if a sunni switches to a shia but i would find it a big deal if a shia switches to a sunni

  12. i think all the shia should switch to be sunni...

  13. a Muslim who leave Islam for shiaism is like leaving it for any other religion

and shia who revert to Islam is like any other religion revert to Islam.

    as simple as that.

  14. To me Yes it is.

  15. WHY ONE NEED TO DO SO AS YOU KNOW THE SHIAS DO WHAT IS NOT FOR SUNNIES

WHAT I THINK IS IGSHIA SWITCH TO SUNNI ITS NO PROBLEM

BUT IF SUNNI SWITCH TO SHIA ITS NOT GOOD
