No. China has more gold medals, because they've been preparing ever since they knew that Beijing would be the host. They've worked hard, and it's reflected in the medals. It's nothing bad that the U.S. did!

Yes it's a coincidence, we fell all the way from first to waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down in 2nd place.

Also it china winning all the judged events was more of a coincidence.

I don't think it's a coincidence. Perhaps PED's are getting more inefficient for illegal athletic use. That's why countries have improved, they're not using PED's and are actually working hard.

NO.  untraceable steroids are easy to get for athletes from any country.  If anything, the countries with state sponsored olympic programs like china benefit from stricter drug tests because they have the money to make sure their athletes wont be caught.

Carl lewis was not on steroids.  Ever notice how skinny and defined he was?  Compare that to sprinters of today, who are not lean because steroids make the body bloat and retain water.  

When carl lewis ran, he was considered freakisihly tall at six foot one.  But now in the steroid era, taller athletes can fill out their frames with muscle much more easily.  Witness the 6'5" asafa powell and usain bolt, who suddenly and unexpectedly went from  being chumps to world beaters.  It used to take years to make a champion sprinter.  

Did you see the jamaican girls compared to ours?  They had upper bodies shaped like men and were not lean at all.  Spinters are normally the athletes with the least body fat in the world.  a couple of these girls sorta had lovehandles.  And they were all much bigger than they were three months ago.  Can you say steroids?
