  1. I just see Merriman understands his role in the NFL is coming to a close very soon anyway, so why not play for the money for one more season. Besides, no one knows how effective the surgery would be anyway?. Only Merriman and his doctor knows for sure.

  2. hes not gettin surgery nd i hope he doesnt srew up his whole carrear

  3. No not really.

  4. No, but what happens if Merriman really messes up that knee by playing? Is 2008 that important to him to put his career in jeopardy?

This is Merriman's decision, of course, but I don't want to see his career end. Just because I'm a Cowboys fan doesn't mean I don't like to watch other teams. I hope it's not going to be "Light's Out" for "Light's Out Shawne Merriman".

  5. No conspiracy.  He may have screwed up his knee in practice during the off-season and never told anyone.

I sure hope he can play without injury (and without killing his pro football career).

  6. First of all, Merriman is a dirty player and there are no two ways about it (I'm referring to his cheap style of play, not his "steroid" use). I'm not a firm believer in karma, but when you play the way he does and talk the game he does, people are bound to catch up with you on the field. We'll see how he does, but I for one could care less if he makes another tackle in the NFL.
