The American media would have me believe that that is how it is in Israel.

  1. Hamas is pretty indiscriminate about which Jews they kill.  I'm not sure why you would tend to believe that it's only Ashkenaz Jews who are killed based on the media.  It may be because the vast majority (and I mean vast, around 80% of all Jews worldwide) are Ashkenaz, so it may seem like primarily Ashkenaz Jews are killed due to our greater abundance.

As a side note, I'm sorta' curious what mode of differentiation you use to distinguish an Ashkenaz Jew from a non-Ashkenaz Jew - it's not like we have some sort of particularly distinguishing feature.

  2. Jews in Israel, Ashkenazi or Sephardim

  3. No.  They attack Sephardic Jews as well.  They attack all Israelis.  Their rockets land on random homes.  In fact, Israeli muslims have been hit.  Their target is Jews of all kinds though.

  4. You would be wrong.  Hamas targets **any** Jews.  Period.

[edit]  Yes, even Falashas--Hamas is an equal-opportunity terrorist organization.  They're nothing but animals.
