Okay I went to a casino for the first time in my life (I'm 19 we were in Canada), I only played roulette, i did not go in there to have fun, I went in there to make money

I was only in there for 2 hours, I walked in with 45, then walked out with 210

I played roulette and waited for red or black to come up more then 3 times then bet on the opposite, this bit me in the *** the frist two times, there were 3 blacks and I bet minimum (15) on red it hit black again, so I bet red again and it hit black, so on my last 15 I bet red again and got it, so now I had 30 and from there I worked my way to over 200 in 2 hours, (there were 3 tables that had displays showing the last 10 numbers so I just keep bouncing between them)

I slowly climbed up to even a 40 dollar bet or two, I made more money in two hours then I do in a week

so How long do you think I could have rode a system like this. assuming I would never bet it all, yes I know that it is entierly possible for it to hit black 8 times in a row and that the greens are always there.

  1. It is a fluke.

Each spin of the roulette wheel is an independent action with no relationship to any prior spin, nor does the result of any prior any spin affect any future spin.

    This is the Gamblers Fallacy.

You may occasionally experience some positive short term results, however, in the long run you will find that it does not produce a profit.

And whatever you do, do NOT start doubling up your bet when you lose! This is called a Martingale betting progression, and will end up costing you a lot in the long run!

Roulette has been around for a long time, and there are no systems to beat it. NONE! If there were, then the casinos would long ago have changed the rules to defeat these systems, just as they did with blackjack and card counting.

Try Blackjack or craps, where the overall odds are a bit more in favor of the player, or learn poker, where you play against other players and not the house.

    Good luck!

  2. From a logical point of view, all you are doing is betting on reds and blacks at totally meaningless points in time.

Why not bet on red after it lands on black one time? Landing on black two, three, or eight times in a row makes NO difference whatsoever on the probability of landing black the next time. If you don't understand that, then gamble away.

Your expected value (betting 15 on red or black) is -0.405405405 on a single 0 wheel, and -0.789473684 on a double 0 wheel.

If you want to play for fun by all means keep playing, but if you want to play for money find a skill game like poker.

You can't beat a fair roulette wheel. Ever. It's been mathematically proven.

If you can keep up your string of good luck forever, I wish you the best :)

  3. Use your theory in a coin flipping contest.  That is all that Red and Black are with one exception, there are 2 spots on the board that you lose no matter what color your play "0" and "00".  So over time even if you only bet Red, you are going to lose.  Get a coin and flip it 1000 times.  Make heads red and tales black.  Now log the order of each flip.  You will never find a pattern.  Why is that?  It is a 50/50 chance.  That means if you only bet heads, over the course of say 1000 flips you are going to likely hit 500 heads.  If the coin could land on its edge, you are going to lose.  Roulette is a losers game.  The only winners are people who get lucky on a 1 number bet that has better odds than the lottery, but requires a larger bankroll investment.

  4. If you toss a coin 100 times and it comes up heads each time, what will the probability be that on the 101'st flip, it lands tails?

    Answer:  1-1.

Reason:  The coin has no memory, it doesn't know it's expected to hit a tail this time, same goes for Roulette, betting black and red, the ball and wheel has no memory. I worked in a casino, and i've seen it hit red over 20 times in a row, same for black.

What you are describing I have seen many a time before, and you will lose eventually.  If you really want to win big on a roulette table, you need to work out the bias of the wheel, and to do that you would need to write down each and every number that particular wheel hits every spin, for about a month, and put those numbers into a computer, and it will work out which straight up numbers are the more likely winners, as all wheels have a bias due to manufacturing flaws.

A team from Spain did this, and fleeced every casino in Europe and Vegas before retiring.

  5. House advantage 5.26 on  a doulble  zero wheel. You got lucky. If it was that simple their  would be no casinos.
