  1. My guess is you have a sensitive sense of smell.

Its not esp if it only works after the fact and if the things that happen are not related to the smell you smell, then its just your imagination.

Most likely there isn't such a thing as ESP, so its safe to assume that this is not a form of esp.

You may find this hard to believe, but nobody have ever been able to demonstrate the existance of esp, telekinesis, or any other paranormal ability.

  2. No, it's called a sense memory.  (I assume you're referring to a smell that shouldn't be there.)

  3. If it's a strong, distinctive odour you smell, and then you have 'deja vu', it could actually be a symptom of temporal lobe epilepsy.

  4. everybody talks about 'deja-vu'; i'd talk about 'deja-senti' more! literally!

there is a false conception that visual is the most part of our senses - maybe we are more aware of sight, but i rely a lot on smell, for example. it helps on strongly fixing different events in my memory.

i suspect those memories are quickly related to current happenings, hence the sensation of 'already happened' or 'premonition'.

    it smells like winter now...

  5. It's called clairalience (clear smelling) and it can be esp based.  Also smells can trigger memories so real as to almost be a hallucination. They think that it maybe a leftover from our primitive past to help trigger the fight or flight  response.  Also sexual response. Look how much money people spend every year to smell good.

  6. Yes, I have it.Just this morning,I noticed the smell of toasting bread.I felt it would soon pop out of the toaster. It was amazing when it did.

  7. Yes, I believe it is.  It's a way of communication that allows unseen forms of energy to bring you a bouquet of scents that say "HELLO" & "WAKE-UP"!  Like a guardian angel or a watcher who is attempting to tell you something.  I don't fully understand it, but I definately acknowledge that it does happen.

It might just be that since these unseen energy forms move at a higher rate of speed than we do, that they may be bringing the odors with them from another location where "they" passed through before entering your own personal space.  Example:  If you smell coffee, perhaps the energy form traveled through a "portal" that was in a coffee shop!  If you are in the middle of nowhere & no coffee shops are around, then this odor would be unmistakable as a "special delivery" type of message, IMHO!

  8. In a sense, it's a form of clairvoyance, 'cept it's your sense of smell rather than sight.
