Is it a good choice to travel to kaiserslautern in this summer ??

K-town is nice , I live very close to it. If you are into soccer it would be nice this summer and otherwise , there are some castles not too far from Kaiserslautern.

Is it EVER a good choice to travel to Kaiserslautern?

There's really not much there... unless you have (very good) friends who you want to visit - I would recommend vising other places in Germany - like Munich, the Alps, Hamburg, Berlin... all have a lot more to offer.

But if you're into soccer (Football) - Kaiserslautern will be a neat place to be this summer. Although I don't think they'll get as many fans as Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich...

all depends on what you expect :-) The big thing in Kaiserslautern is Soccer, Soccer, Soccer... It´s a nice little city where you won´t find too much excitement but some nice things to do. A beautiful former gardening expo area with dinosaurs, a nice little downtown area with enough shopping, plenty of restaurants (fast and slow food :-)) and then there´s fußball, fußball and fußball (german word for soccer). So if all of those things are what you´re looking for, go ahead!
