  1. I don't think Laser eye surgery is a good idea wherever it is carried out!

  2. why would you pay to go all the way to india to have something done that is relative cheap and easy to have done here??

  3. No. You only have one pair of eyes. Don't do your laser eye surgery overseas just because it's cheap. Find a certified eye surgeon in your area, schedule a free appointment and find out if you're a good candidate or not. Visit http://thelasikreview.com/lasik-yahoo.ph... to find a laser eye surgery center near you.

  4. Im from bangladesh. near india and pakistan. and i dont think thats a good idea.... because even in high standerd places like canada, they might go wrong. So i wouldnt take the risk of going blind if i were u...

however, if u go see a very very GOOD optrition, then i would seggest it. but i noe how it is in india. if ure rich then u cud aford it. if not, dont take the risk!

  5. No, sorry. I don't think its a good idea at all to have ANY cosmetic surgery abroad. I mean, yes its cheaper, but most of the time the aftercare isn't good at all.

Laser eye surgery in my opinion should be carried out by a qualified doctor, who knows al the risks and who knows what he/she is doing. After all you only get one pair of eyes and one shot at sight, you don't want to jeopardise it.

I hope this answers your question. Good luck if your thinking about getting it done.

  6. Not if you're doing it there because it's cheaper. Also you have to be careful in that if complications occue while there then what? Does our insurance cover it? Who will take care of you? If ou come back the US then have complications most Dr's won't care for you because it was done elsewhere and they don't want to take the blame for it. If you do go through with it be sure they are licensed, certfified, the whole nine yards.

  7. Why would you want to go to India to have it done??   To save money?

Why take a chance with your eyesight?  If it's damaged there's no way you'll get it back.

Save up if need be and get it done somewhere highly professional and where they've been doing it for years.

I had mine done in 2004 by Optimax in UK.  They have consultant optometrists and you can even get a 2nd opinion from a second consultant.

I paid £1260 inc. consultation fee (both eyes)

  8. yes it is an good idea some of the gratest eye sourgens are there but it iz inpensive
