  1. They have one like that at Arizona State University, called Cereality. I think it's a good idea because it's really popular! They have a variety of cereals, granola, and toppings (like fruit, oreo chunks, etc) and all the kinds of milk. They also have yogurt for if you want to make your own parfait. I hope this helps!

  2. dudee that would be awesomee! omg! i sould soo go theree! buT u need to have alooooooooot of different kinds. like a whole storybook of cereal on the menu! lol :)

  3. NO, no, no...sorry, very bad idea.

  4. I think it would work out great next to a college campus.

  5. I doubt it, but one that was set up like a sushi bar that only served fresh fruit and vegetables would.  Get some fast knives to whittle up fresh cut up fruit dishes, fresh vegetable salads,

You could call it  a Frushi Bar

Don't be afraid to charge, the vegens will pay anything..lol

  6. sure does go for it!

  7. you can have some variety by also serving oatmeal and oatmeal with fruit

  8. that would be pretty stupid.  I can serve my own cereal.  I have bowls and milk too.  I even have a spoon.  don't do it

  9. if you build it, they will come!

  10. I would basicly live there.Thats like the most brilliant idea ever!

  11. I had the same idea!!!! I was going to have a drive-thru though and offer every type of cereal and milk. Also have combos with fruit or coffee, and then maybe offer oatmeal too. The only thing is for people to eat it on the go.

But I say you should definitely go for it! You could also have like different sizes and toys for the kids. Its a good idea!

  12. Guess you watched "The Office" last night huh!!  Seems like a fun idea but frankly would be spell financial ruin if you ask me.  Restaurants are hard enough to start up without making them so specific.

  13. No.........that I can do at home. If you want to serve just breakfast with eggs, pork roll, omelets, bacon, sausage, juice etc. and then you can include the cereal and milk. I don't think that business would succeed.

  14. sure i think its a good idea its different but why not just have a breakfast restaurant with all breakfast foods call it the breakfast club lol good luck .......

  15. no.

  16. ummm if the idea of hardly making money is good!!!

  17. I'm in a culinary arts program at my college and I'm taking a few courses that involve the business aspects of the restaurant industry and my professor was talking about people want variety and when they go out to a restaurant they want to indulge. So like you do have to offer diet-friendly foods to cater to customers who want to eat lighter but often when people go out to restaurants, even when they're on a diet, they want to indulge and use going out to a restaurant as an excuse to indulge on higher-fat, tastier, less healthy food. So I would think that cereal wouldn't sell too well as it is something more people would have at home. I rarely see it on the menu at a breakfast restaurant, sometimes at a buffet but not always. So I wouldn't suggest it for a restuarant. Also its good to have a fairly wide variety of dishes in a restaurant to appeal to different people.

  18. No!

  19. There are restaurants out there like this already, I saw it on the Foodnetwork.  The ones that make it are close to college campus locations.

  20. Well, I would go, at first, just to see what its like.

    OOOOOO! Serve frosted flakes!

  21. Eh.  I don't like cereal.  I wouldn't go there so I guess I can't figure out why someone would go there when it is so easy to get cereal and milk on their own.

  22. did you get this idea from the office tonight? lol

    also, it doesnt seem profitable

  23. why not...they have one that only sells peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches

  24. It would be a big hit with the kids who can't get brand x from their parents. They would use thier allowance and buy it themselves from you.

The only down side is some parent someday would form a group later on and try to shut you down.

  25. I think I have heard of one of these before.  Build it next to my house and we would have our own private booth.  Not sure how it would make too much money though.
