Is it a good idea t move to hawaii?

any thoughts or input you might have on someone thinking of possibly moving to hawaii? i'd especially like to hear from those who do or have lived on one of the islands.

Yes it is awesome here,I live in Kahului,maui,HI and there is alot of fun things to do over here

Find a job is not as easy as on the mainland and life is generally more expensive there.

my family vacationed there awhile ago.

it's VERY beautiful but it does cost a lot because of all the tourism, your best going to an island with fewer tourists then Honolulu's island.

I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Living on the west side of the Island in the town of Kona is the best move I've ever made. There is plenty of work to do and plenty of fun to be had.

I am a carpenter and SCUBA dive for sport and recreation.

If you ever decide to visit, I'd love to show you around. One of my favorite things to do with my friends that visit, is to take them swimming just off shore where they can encounter dolphins. It is a beautiful place to be. And if worst came to worst, I'd rather be homeless in Hawaii than any place else on earth.
