I will be in nursing school next year and PDA's are EXPENSIVE! I really dont want to pay over $200 for one. Then software I need for school will alone cost $100.

  1. Assuming that a company wouldn't sell you something if it didn't work is STUPID. That said, buying refurbished is fine, as long as:

-you buy from a REPUTABLE source, check the Better Business Bureau for complaints against a company before you buy from them

-they offer a comprehensive WARRANTY that has a reasonable time frame and guarantees replacement for any defect that's a result of normal use- even better if you can get some sort of insurance plan, so even accidental damage is covered

  2. I bought a hp6515 in it was fantastic! It had some minor scratches on it and has last me about 4 years solid perfomance. I think if you do you home work right, and if on ebay just feedback and ask lots of questions then you will be alright. But like anything 'lemons' can occur but it's the risk you take (and to my current strike rate it's been great)!

  3. yes refurbs are just as good as new or else a company wouldnt sell them to you
