I want to become a librarian but since that requires a grad degree, I was thinking about going to school to become a hairstylist so I could make more money to put me through the remainder of my BA and then into grad school. I'm a returning adult student that doesn't make enought money to pay for school and housing but makes too much to get financial aid.

I'm trying to think of clever ways to get through school and end up okay on the other side... any ideas would be great!

  1. Try looking into nail technology schools. Doing nails is a big thing with girls right now. Also try waxing or threading. Schooling would be less time than hairstyling.

  2. The problem is that you would be using the money you make as a hairstylist to pay off the loans you took out to pay for beauty school, so you might not have much more available than you do now to pay for your bachelors and library science degrees.
