Is it a good idea to do this(for fans of Fight Club)? ?

I'm 14 and I'm very impressionable. I've already watched Fight Club twice all the way through. I love it. I was gonna watch it the night before I started high school. Because I am impressionable I was wondering if this would be a good or a bad idea. Any opinions?

The first rule of Fight Club is 'You Do Not Talk About Fight Club'!

But since you already broke that rule, I'd recommend picking up the book.  The movie is very true to the book and there is little in the book that would be entirely new to you, but there is something about reading it that makes Chuck Palahniuk's masterpiece more effective in print than on DVD.

It's a movie.  It's fiction.  That means fake.  Fake blood, fake fighting, fake story.

If you understand that, you can watch it whenever you want.

Fight Club is a good movie but I do not believe it would leave a good impression on a 14 year old.  

There are some examples that you would not really want to follow.  Example: Hitting Golfballs into the street, scarring yourself on the hand with a chemical burn, stealing fat from a garbage dump to make soap, blowing up banks, and shooting yourself in the head.

It's just a movie. Maybe you're inspired by it. I know a man who watches Scarface every single night before he goes to bed because he's inspired by it. Just don't pull an Ed Norton and have multiple personality disorder.
