  1. I know scrapbookers who have done this, but I haven't done it personally because I'm afraid of making a mistake that will ruin the layout I've already done on the other side.  If you really want to do it, though, I would recommend doing the entire layout on a plain light-weight sheet of paper, and then adhering the whole thing to the back of your existing layout.  That way, if you make any mistakes, you can correct them before you permanently attach everything.  Good luck, and please post your layouts if you can.

  2. to use the back of your pages you may find it easier to go through your photos first and slip them into your individual sleeves in some sort of order, re your trip. then go for it. i do it often, and more so when theres a heap of photos that give a theme based album.

  3. Like many people, I started scrapbooking years ago at a Creative Memories party.  The way I was taught was to use both sides of the page, making sure you have everything laid out and planned before you start using adhesive.  It has taken me a long time to get to where I can use a sheet of paper on one side for the types of albums I use now.  So my advice is to go for it!  Don't do any writing until you're sure about the placement of all your photos/embellishments, and creative backgrounds can cover a multitude of sins if you decide you don't like the way the page looks and have to move stuff around, leaving a mark on the paper!

  4. If it's two sided paper (designs on both sides), go ahead.  If not, don't.  Scrapbooking isn't about rules and having to do things, but about having fun getting your memories down.
