  1. Run it if it's calling for cooling. It will keep the humidity out of the house.

  2. And why would you? unless you live near the equator  and its

    really humid.

  3. I run it even when it is raining. After 32 years of doing this, I have never had a problem.

  4. There is NO reason for turning your AC off when it is raining or any other weather conditions.  It makes NO diff.

  5. You can run AC when it's raining outside. There's no reason not to unless it's already cold in the house. They're built to be outside (meaning they can tolerate the rain.) Turn it on and keep cool!

  6. There is no reason not to run it.  A little water won't hurt it.  If it is a central air conditioning unit, its is a good idea to clean and debris and leaves out of the outside unit once a year to keep the drain holes from becoming clogged and preventing proper drainage.

  7. i think u really only need the AC during summer

but always keep it around 70-75 degrees

    to save money :))
