  1. I would not send out a thousand resumes or you may be flooded with job offers. Start with a small list of companies youd really like to work with, and depending on their method of application you can either email or mail. Some companies have a submission thing on their website, others dont.

  2. Send it to them this week and if you do not hear anything do it again next week and the week after.

The only way is to believe in yourself and make an absolutely stinking nuisance of yourself AND don't take no for an answer.

    Best of luck

  3. Follow the talent agencies guidelines for submission.  Send to all legit agencies.  Get a copy of Brian O'Neil's Acting as a Business to learn exactly how to do this.

  4. Yes

  5. Well you should send them to almost as much agents as possible because this industry is tough and the chances of anyone making it are very slim.

good luck and i hope you dreams come true!

  6. Send a picture and resume to the appropriate department/agent (Attn: Teen Dept, if that's your age group). Might as well cast a wide net, send them to all the ones you have researched and found to be on the up-and-up.

Do not lie on your resume, and list any special skills you have as well (singing, dancing, juggling, musical instruments, gymnastics, etc) , and make sure your date of birth, height, weight, measurements, eye and hair color are on it.

Include a clear, representative photo (not a Glamor Shot or group photo), at least 5 x 7 (preferably an 8 x 10) of just your face. You can also send a 3/4 or "body" shot, nothing salacious, just a full-length so they can get an idea of your body type.

If you don't hear back immediately, keep building your resume and in six months or so send an updated resume and different pictures.

And if you do get called in and they want money to sign you, THEY ARE NOT A LEGITIMATE AGENCY.
