I have a pair of Nike Miler distance spikes, they were great for track season. I was wondering if i should use them with xc length screws this season, or if i should buy a pair of xc spikes.

Thanks :)

  1. Usually, XC racing spikes are the ones that are reused for track. I think it would be alright to use them on a course that doesn't have any concrete.

  2. u should take out the spikes and buy cross country spikes to put in the shoe also xc shoes themselves tend to have extra grip in the sole besides for the fact that the extra logn spikesbut its your 150 $ lol so spend it the wya u think u should

  3. track spikes will be so slipperry in the rain or snow!

unless u r tight on money go out and buy shoes that are meant for Xc

  4. Depends on the type of "plate" (bottom of the shoe), you have.

If the bottom is plastic, then I would highly recommend you to buy a pair of XC shoes.

If on the other hand, the shoe has a rubber bottom, then sure go for it. The shoe should be able to withstand the XC courses.

If you don't mind where boy shoes, then you go could go with the very popular Nike XC Forevers. They are very durable and you can use them for indoor track (if you run it). (By the way, the only difference between the $90 Forevers and the $50 forevers are the colors, the more expensive ones are the ones that came out recently)

  5. If you felt good in them for track they should be even better for xc, thats usually I rotate my shoes.
