I was told that working at your favourite fast food restaurant would cause you to dislike their food, but my argumentive brother dismisses the thought.

Which is correct?

  1. Generally, restaurant employees stop wanting to eat at wherever they work because there are there all the time, and typically get to eat the food there for free or at a reduced price before and after shifts.   You won't start to dislike the taste, you just won't want to eat at the place where you work.

  2. I love KFC and cooked there.  I never lost the taste for the chicken.....  Mix up the menu and it will not be an issue.

  3. Your opinion of the restaurant would probably change. You would see your favorite food items in their naked form, without the fancy wrappers. Having cooked in Ct restaurants for years, I think that often the food becomes just a "product" to you and no longer a treat. It has become part of your work. A lot of it depends on your own attitude. I have worked at two of my favorite fast food restaurants and still eat at both, regularly. You may love the food, but not necessarily the job.

  4. Its true, ull hate the food and become sick of eaating it all the time. It happend to me when i worked at TGI's Friday.
