  1. i would say that that is up to him lol....if you know that he is gonna ask then you obviously already know your answer so i dont think it matter

  2. No...if that were me I would be uncomfortable.  I'm more of a private person.  Guess it depends what type of person you are.

  3. Only if you are going to say yes.

  4. Not if you plan on saying no..lol.

  5. Gee, you just ruined the surprise - leave it up to him.

I much preferred that my husband asked me in private.

  6. I don't think it is a good idea.  A proposal is between two people - it's not an event for the entertainment of others.

  7. mine asked me privately then we sent out invites to OutBack Steakhouse to our families and told them then.

  8. That is totally up to him....and how comfortable he will be!! My Husband since July 5, 2008 asked me at the beach after a nice romantic dinner with moonlight.. to me that was perfect! If he would had done it in front of my family  that would have been fine as well.. But not to him.. he felt better just me and him.. he was able to say what he wanted and felt more comfortable instead of a bunch of people watching. It also has to do with the way your family is... are they going to start making jokes... making comments.. . my auntie's husband asked her in front of all of us, he was toooo nervous no body understood his words so we decided to helped him out by being supportive and making commentsss  = ).

  9. It depends on your relationship. If you like having lots of people around, fine. But I would prefer the moment to be more private.

  10. My fiance proposed to me infront of LITERALLY 300,000 people. If that's what you want, then sure, it's a good idea. There's nothing like having a ton of people clap and cheer for you after the best moment of your life!

    Good luck!

  11. i would say no its not a good idea but thats just me.  if you fell comfortable with it then go right on ahead and have him propose that way.  i would just fell like its a lot of unneeded pressure.  good luck

  12. NO!   Too much presure to say yes.

  13. call me old fashioned or what have you, but i think a proposal should be a private thing...  but it all depends on what you want personally.
