How Long
How long would I love you? Till when?
A year? . . . two, or ten?
This heart says: "forever"
"Never, Never!!!!"
The mind shouts: "Never!"
"You cannot love him forever."
The war is fired
Between the heart and the mind!
The blood cannot find
A room to run into, to hide!
My heart and mind became foes
When the eyes first saw you.
The questions switched off the light
When I asked:
"How long will I love you? Till when?"
A strange man will buy my heart
With a precious golden coin.
In my womb he will plant
Not your child, not your son.
And this hot sun,
Will burn the seas vibrate the rivers,
When the heart shouts:
"Never, never!"
The days of the calendar
Are all Fridays,
The months are all Novembers.
A red heart on each square,
Tells me it is a nightmare.
