Is it a little too early?

Considering we have yet to hold the republican and democratic conventions and elect a presidential candidate, is it a little too early to start attacking character as McCain has been reported to have began doing with Obama?

Is this McCain's decision anyway, since he seems a kindly man...or is this what his advisors are telling him to do?

  1. I own a dog.

  2. Republicans' usual smears aren't getting much traction this year, so the attacks are starting earlier.I think McCain might be OK, but advisors have clearly led this aging Jedi over to the Dark Side.

  3. It is never to early to point out the truth that the mass media has refused to report on. The media humping Obama's leg is getting pretty old.

  4. Yes, it should never be a subject in a Presidential election or any election.  It does not win votes and sounds more like Yahoo Answers than professional people.  I do suspect that it is not Mr. McCain who made this decision but those wish to control the words that come out of his mouth.  Nonetheless, it is McCain who will take the fall for it.

  5. The Republican party was able to get an idiot elected president the last two terms by using a non stop attack mode to get the voters mind off the issues. It worked so well the last 2 elections, they will continue using it- Answer no questions, discuss no issues, explain on platform, just attack, attack, and attack some more.

  6. No. It isn't too early. If anything, it's too tame. Obama has endless flaws in his character, past, and allegences. All should be exploited. He is not presidential material.
