  1. It depends where in OC and where in SD.  Orange County and San Diego County are adjacent to each other, but they are both fairly large.  But yes, you could easily drive between them in 2-4 hours depending on traffic.

  2. Orange County to San Diego is a little over an hour's drive depending on where in each county you are going to.  I used to live in SD 10 yrs ago and it was about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs to Disney.  Since then, though the population has grown so it might be a little longer.

Being a former San Diegan, I would suggest spending more than just a day for Sea World.  The zoo is world famous and Balboa Park has many museums to see.  Plus the beaches are beautiful.   You should check  San Diego out more, you may decide it's better to stay there and take a day trip to Disneyland instead.

  3. Disneyland to Sea World would take approximately 2 hours or so.  Double that and you're talking 4, so you may want to stay in OC, then stay in San Diego for at least a few days to do the Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaport Village and the Embarcadero, and take the Trolley tour.

Check out the site listed below for info on everything to do in San Diego,

    and have fun!  : )

  4. San Diego is a large county, so it really depends on where you are starting from and where you are going.

But generally speaking, from central San Diego county to, say Irvine, is about an hour, an hour and a half drive.  From central San Diego to Los Angeles (say, LAX) is about a 2 hour drive under perfect circumstances.

If you go farther north or start from farther south, your drive time will of course be longer.  You also have to consider traffic.  If you hit heavy traffic, which is highly likely, that will also make the trip longer.

  5. Disneyland and San Diego are very close (from Disneyland to Sea World is about 90 miles), and most of the drive is along the ocean, which is beautiful.  However, as someone else mentioned, I would recommend more than a day trip to San Diego as it's really great.  In additional to Sea World, there is the Wild Animal Park (which has overnight camping available), the Gas Lamp District, plus lots of beaches etc.
