Is it a normal behavior for kittens..............?

to be super nice? I'm not saying that cats are mean or anything, but I've notice that cats usaully like being independent. Well I'm asking this question because I just adopted a stray kitten. She has been so far awesome and loves my family. She follows me everywhere, and has never ever given any sort of atitude. The best part is that when I laying down on the couch watching tv, she will climb up and sleep on my lap. I heard from people that a kitten's behavior changes dramaticly when it becomes an adult. I not neccesasilry wanting the cat to sleep on me all the time, but I definatly want it to be a nice cat.

Well I think that she wants to be like you and for you to teach her things. To her, you are the dominant and you rule! I have had friendly cats before too! I am getting a kitten and I would love it if you could answer my question! Its about what to name her :3

Cats/kittens all have different personalities so just be nice to him/her and it will love you and be your buddy. My cat loves to lay right in front of the keyboard to get my attention sometimes but at times she wants nothing to do with people so it depends on the personality of the little critter.

Strays are usually very grateful for being rescued. I have rescued many cats and most of them have been extremely affectionate. One of my cats is curled up with me right now. I rescued her at 5 weeks and she is now 11. She is always with me and always sleeps on my bed. I think you have a nice cat!

of course its normal it just that they love u and they know u love them back and they love to play so yes it is normal
