Is it a possibility for this to happen???

okay so i had s*x with a guy on august 9th and i got my period on august 18th but its not been my normal period is it possible that im pregnant?? because today i got sick this morning and threw up a couple of times??

The only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test.  You can pick one up at any drug or grocery store (Walmart, Hannaford, CVS, Target, Walgreens etc.).  

Buy a digital test (I recommend Clear Blue Easy Digital) - even though they are more expensive, they are MUCH easier to read and you won't end up going back to the store for more tests (like I did).  Also pick up some plastic cups, because it's alot easier to just pee in the cup and dip the pregnancy test in it, than it is to pee on the test for a certain amount of time (especially when you are nervous).  Make sure you READ THE DIRECTIONS before you take the test and follow them!

Have a close friend or someone nearby when you take the test... it helps to have someone there to talk to about things.

If you are really embarrassed about going to the store, or too scared to take the test yourself go to Planned Parenthood http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ . They can give you a pregnancy test there, as well as counseling if you need it.  They can also set you up on the birth control pill so you won't have to worry about this again.  You can also get condoms from them for free.  If you are underage they won't tell your parents, and they will help you for free or low cost.

how was your period? like spotting kinda super light like that and brown? or was it still red and still kinda heavy? because that will tell you if it was your period or implantation bleeding. but you can take a hpt and it should come up positive if you are.
