  1. idk

  2. I doubt it.  You should contact the INS to double check on the impact of marrying a US citizen while here on a student visa.

  3. No problem getting married. Big problem getting a permanent residency. A Student Visa lets them work on-campus only. A Green Card lets them work legally in America. A Spouse Visa allows residency but not to work. If they overstay a visa, such as a Tourist Visa or Student Visa, they do get deported and it complicates any other chances for the other types of visas. Bear in mind that on a Spouse Visa you promise that for the next 10 years the immigrant will not be a welfare burden.

  4. F-1 students are allowed to apply for adjustment of status to permanent resident (a.k.a. green card holder) if they can show they had no intention of getting married on their non-immigrant visas when they stepped into the US.

For the US citizen it's no problem to get married to a student visa holder.
