Is it a scam to subscribe to seventeen?

is says you get like 80% off.. for about 12 issues.. but is this a scam in anyway? any extra fees?

i want to subscribe.. but not if I'm going to be charged extra, that and the fact it's paying by credit-card.

It's not a scam. Most magazine companies offer significant savings for subscriptions. The magazine shares it's numbers of subscribers with advertisers. The more subscribers a magazine has, the more money advertisers will pay to be in the magazine. Magazines make most of their money from advertisers, not magazine sales.
