Is it a sin to gamble If yes were can I find it in the bible?

The bible doesn't say that gambling is a sin. And futhermore, gamble means when someone is willing to lose some money to see if he/she wins or lose. If you're willing to lose some, then that's not a sin. However, the bible advocates all christian to take precaution in doing this because there can be a stigma attached to the love of money which is the root of all evil. That doesn't means we must not win money or love to win alot of money. It's the way people caught up in the hype of keep gambling until they lose everything which is a sin.

It is a sin because it violates Christian principles.  This my personal opion but what does the bible says?
