Is it a slap in the face for YAHOO when people say "GOOGLE IT" ?

Why don't more people use it ?

What is wrong with YAHOO's SEARCH ENGINE ?

Is GOOGLE better, in your opinion ?

I think that no search engine is better, as you so put it, than another, but perphaps it seems easier to access?

I actually don't really know.

I think not a slap in the face as much as a nudge to get their Ad Men busy to change our habits by blitzing us with better commercials. Peace, Brother.

Yeah I'm more apt to just Google it. Maybe I should give these Yahoo people a try!

I never really thought about this until now. I have a habit of going straight to google if I need something and I guess it is purely out of habit. If I worked for Yahoo I would probably find it insulting if people were suggesting Google on a Yahoo sight. Good question!

I use both but sometimes find better (more direct) links with google to be honest with you.

Google is just so much more popular than Yahoo in the sense of a search engine. Now if someone said which sounds better? Google mail or Yahoo mail i would say Yahoo but for searching I use Google. It is simple and not overcomplicated.

Actually, I only use Yahoo. I often use the phrase "google it", but only meaning to search it. Somehow saying "Yahoo it" doesn't sound right,lol. Good question, it makes you think =D

Yep, if I was satisfied with the google answer, I would do it myself.  Sometimes people ask questions on here wanting a more personal answer.

I'm guilty of that! I didn't even think about it!I was talking about the dinosaurs and men together carved on the stones called Ica Stones from ancient Peru.And I said "Google it if you want to see photos" Geez, how rude of me ....Sorry my Yahoo buds.

I've felt that I've been cheated out of an answer when someone has said "google it"  Like I haven't tried already. With some of my questions I did google them and couldn't get the answer I needed which is why I asked the question in the first place.

Google is better for some things but for opinions Y/A is better.
