Is it a smart idea for me to travel to London and Europe with the dollar down in value so much?

I really want to go, but I heard the low value of the dollar will kill me over there. I want to push it as much as I can, but I want advice as to what I should do, or if I should just wait until things get better. I think I have family over there, so maybe I could stay with them, but I don't know them that well. I don't think that would be a great idea.

It's always a good idea to travel in Europe.  No telling when the dollar is going to rebound.  I'd say  just go and live a little more frugally than usual.  

For example, you could stay in hostels, which are clean, cheap and everywhere.  Buy your food at markets rather than going to restaurants. Things like that.
