Is it a snake or a worm???????

There was this little thing in one of our bathrooms, so far it has happened twice, little black things that look like worms, but they are extremely skinny, my parents flushed it down the toilet too fast and wouldn't listen to me when I said let me take a picture, it is skinny, and is black. Is it a baby snake?

Its a worm if you couldnt identify anything but being black and extremely skinny.

By your description of the "reptilian" i would believe that it is a skink- or legless lizard.Nothing to be afraid about but next time try not to flush them down as they can always come back up the plumbing.
