  1. well during the 2006 winter wind storm the sky was green and gray but i think it can be both cause thunderstorms and tornado both produce wind

  2. The greenish tint is usually an indication of hail, as the hail tends to scatter any sunlight more in the green wavelengths.  There is no "tornado color" in the sky.

  3. the sky is green in a tornado or indicating a tornado. when the sky is gray, that shows there might be heavier rain than usual

  4. The sky turning green or gray is the cloud reflection, and more intense storms to bring interesting colors. However, you cannot rule whether there is a thunderstorm or tornado by it. Most of the time tornados are found in skies that are a  very ominous gray color, but a cloud (or funnel) must have direct contact with the ground in order for it to be a "tornado." Many thunderstorms have dark skies and heavy winds, but tornados actually touch the ground. If you're just a bystander, I hope you never are in the position to see one :) I hope I was of some help
