  1. YES

  2. As far as I know it is

  3. i dont think so i do it

  4. It depends. If you are turning left and there is only one left turn lane, but the street you are turning on to has multiple lanes, you have the right to choose any lane you need. However, Let's say you are going straight, and there are multiple lanes going straight. It is illegal to change lanes in the middle of the intersection, even though there may not be lane markings. This is intended to minimize confusion in the intersection, so when you see a car moving in the intersection, you can reasonably estimate where it is going by observing what lane it is in.

  5. This is a common question and each state has different laws when it comes to this...

In California - it is NOT illegal to change lanes in an intersection (I learned this one in traffic school a few years ago).

  6. i belive it is also very dangerous somone did that as i was pulling out and they almost hit me

  7. in every state i've lived it is

  8. Lots of morons here answering for all 50 states when they only live in one and don't even know the rules for their own. Depending on who you ask, it may or may not be illegal. I heard in traffic school recently that since there are no lane lines running through the intersection, you are technically not changing lanes, but again it depends on the local laws and the state you are in. Your best bet is to never change lanes in an intersection, so you never have to be confronted for it. Seems smart to me. I would imagine it seems smart even to a moron.

  9. Yes it is.

  10. In California it is violation, that's why when you come to an intersection there is a long white line, you cannot change lanes after the start of the line...
