Is it a waste to start a club your senior year of high school? ?

I mean actually start running a club where you can be president.

No! If you name a successor it can be your legacy. You would be a founding father of something! They could have your portrait hanging on the wall with the words,"Founder of the ----- Club" underneath! Think of that!

And regardless, if you have fun, it's always worth it. :)

IF it is something that you will enjoy and are willing to put out the effort to get going, I say go for it.  It will also look good on your college apps showing them your creativity and extra curricular activities
