  1. be careful of the rednecks, wear a good helmet not a cheap one.

  2. woooow

    that's cool

but they'd think it's weird though , but never mind'em

  3. Hmmmm. Nice sparkly bike!

And why would you care what people think? Especially in US? It isn't Saudi Arabia, after all, you won't be arrested for riding a bike outside, alone.

And who says bikes can only be ridden by men or women in t-shirts and jeans? Go along and enjoy your ride!

  4. you go girl! Show them that we can do things like that! Alhumdulilah!

  5. I live in UAE so flickr is blocked here.

No you should not and bike is also dangerous to drive. You can drive car.

  6. I feel for you, gas prices are shooting up and cost of living is following it rapidly.  And there is our cost of living increase...or should I say, there it isn't, lol.  As long as you are following Islam and pleasing Allah then don't mind what others think.  Allah knows best.

  7. lol same sara

    BLOOOOOCKKKKKKKKKKED

but i know what a dirtbike is O.o..

  8. I get looks going anywhere in my hijab if it helps. Dirt bikes are fun :)

  9. Not really. You will get stared at for being a muslima, In this country you will get stared at for everything. People have a staring problem here.

  10. I don't know which part of the US the above poster is talking about, about staring, but in CA esp in the bay area, nobody even notices what race you are, what religion you are, or even how you're dressed. People either pay attention to who you are as a person, or don't notice you at all. So no, it wouldn't be a weird sight.

  11. mashallah good for you for trying to save money:D

no i dont think there is anything wrong besides the weird looks

  12. Wow.

    I'd never ride THAT =/

and yes, it's more than just weird...

  13. it's weird to see anyone in the US riding that kind of bike on the road.  don't worry about what people think though, do what you want.

  14. I don't see anything wrong with it.  When I was in Morocco there was a young woman who worked near the apartment I was staying at and every night some man she knew picked her up on his motorcycle to take her home.  It's just another means of transportation.  If you're riding it to have fun then have fun and don't worry about the looks you get.  There's always gonna be someone who thinks they have the right to judge others.
