All I do is play basketball and go to the gym and then on the weekend I hit up the bars out here. I think I'm just a lazy guy who doesn't want to sweep the kitchen everyday. I just want to know what's acceptable.

  1. wELL EVERYONE I KNOW WOULD BE LUCKY TO SWEEP THE KITCHEN twice a week.... every week is fine to maintain cleanliness

  2. Well, there are more important things in life than sweeping floors.

But, they do need it, so just go with how the floor is looking after a couple of days, rather than a tight schedule for it.

  3. There are 4 people in our house and we never sweep the kitchen and just vacuum it about twice a month so every 2 weeks or so. I would say skipping 2 day for you is fine

  4. It depends. Do you live alone?  If you live alone, it probably doesn't need to be swept daily, probably every other day would be alright.

  5. Depends how often and how you use your kitchen.

If you eat in there and crumbs are left on the floor it can attract unwanted visitors.

Also flour on the floor is not a good look unless you want to track the footprints of your unwanted visitors.

And lastly if there are no food residues it should discourage unwanted visitors.

So if you have no unwanted visitors in your kitchen, don't worry about it! :)

  6. No-daily care of your home is acceptable behaviour.
