Is it abnormal to only tan on the front and back of your body but not the sides? I'm talking like tanning beds. Is it because I'm not using tanning lotion/oil/ect.?

I don't want any tanning bad for you, its stupid, it makes people ugly, you can get skin cancer c**p. I can guarentee your not getting a b.a. from me. I have to tan cause of a skin condition, it helps me. And my doctor even told me to. So none of that.

  1. yeah i think its kind of abnormal. i go tanning and my whole body gets tan you should prolly talk to the ppl at the tanning place and ask about it b4 you go again

  2. No it's not abnormal. Try lieing on your sides some. I try to turn when I tan. If I'm laying 20 minutes I'll lay 5 on my back 5 on my stomach and 5 on each side with my arms up over my head. Hopefully this will help! Be careful the first time you lie on your sides though, you might get burnt because it's white!

  3. Under your arms and on your sides will be lighter unless you use a stand up bed.  That could help.

  4. maybe try the stand up kind to tan all over better

cancer:They are saying 2nd hand smoking is worse for you. How? I don't know. According to that the whole world will get cancer then. Usually if you look at family someone has it from the past. So I guess you going to get one way or another unless something kills you first.Sorry I'm not trying to be down just looking at life.

  5. lay with your arms up over your head  that will proberly help

  6. go in a stand up one. there are bars to hang on to at the top so your arms wont get in the way of your sides.

  7. If you're using a lie-down bed, you may not be tanning on your sides because your arms are in the way. Otherwise, I have no idea.

  8. Hmm, it could possibly be because when you're doing lay down your arms are at your sides which could be preventing your sides from getting the correct exposure? or the same amount of exposure as the rest of your body? If that isn't the case then you could try a tanning lotion as tanning lotions help greatly when it comes to achieving a dark and even tan- you should be able to purchase a good lotion at your tanning salon. Also, make sure to lay on each side... on your back and on your stomach- you basically just have to keep moving around to be sure your getting everything tanned. That's why I would personally suggest stand up tanning (I use stand up) and it's much easier as you just have to stand there while holding onto some bars with your arms so that everything will get tanned and your arms won't get in the way or anything of that sort =] I hope I've helped and good luck.
