Yes... I agree with E.O.S.  Archaeology should have it's own section both to deal with ideas in Classical Archaeology as well as American subjects.  There are so many ideas that perhaps we would have an intelligent discussion open up.

Archaeology is, and has always been, an independant discipline, and is, in most of the world, more directly related to geography and history than anthropology.
