  1. If you are wearing a PFD(Personal Flotation Device) you will be fine.

  2. Most states require you to wear a PFD when jet skiing so more then likely you should float if you are knocked off into the water which happens more often then you think. You need to be able to swim far enough to get back to your machine if you are put off it.

  3. wear a life-vest.

  4. It is required that you take a boating safety course and wear a life jacket.

  5. na, i new a guy once that did't know how to swim, and he went water sking.   ONCE !!!

  6. you should be fine with a life jacket, but being able to swim would be a plus

  7. No, not really.  But like everyone else said, a life jacket would help!

  8. Well, its no problem unless you fall off....but its absolutely necessary to wear a life jacket while riding one of those things sooo if you can swim in a life jacket pretty well you should be fine. But remember, they are dangerous and the boats don't look for you so you have to be aware of the boats. Good luck and have fun!
