I have had 2 bad experiences buying online.The products were in bad condition.

It is always better to buy from the market where you can see the products yourself and then choose before buying

Not recommended in India. If u r in a honest country like Singapore Dubai Swiss than it is a common practise there & no threat.

If the goods are really visible and easy to assess and carry home then the market is probably best (e.g. food, clothes, stationery) - but if you buy on-line with a credit card and from an official website then you have legal redress when buying computers, white goods, tickets, etc.

Be aware that although places like eBay are "policed" they are somewhere between a market and an on-line shop and can be dangerous.
