Is it advisable to wear contact lenses when u have a sty in ur eye?

NOOOOOOO..and did i mention NO lol...It will just irritate your eye more..and i would throw out the contact you were using before you got the sty

No you really shouldn't wear contact lenses when you have a sty in your eye.

It's better to wear glasses or if you can do without them.

Because a sty is an infection in the eye lid, so wearing contact lenses can irritate the sty and cause it to become worse.

Also putting in contacts and touching your eye a lot like that can cause you to also have an infection in your eye.

It's best to not wear contacts for the time being and instead just wear glasses.

Well i have the daily wear contacts.  when i had my stye it irritated my eye.  when i put in the contact, the bump fell on top of the lens so it didnt irritate my eye anymore. but if you have something other than the dailies which you cannot throw away, then no.
