We are hosting a great brazilian girl. She has expressed an interest in skiing, and we would love to take her. I lived in central Europe in the past and have friends that can help us find nice places. We would of course do legwork and stuff for her visa and pay expenses. I just want to make sure a trip like this would be of any benifit to her.

Or are we are better staying in the US?

Opinions appreciated!

  1. I have been an exchange student, and my family has hosted three exchange students. I think skiing in Europe sounds like a great experience. Exchange students always love the opportunity to go to a different country to experience a different culture, and going to Europe would certainly give her another great experience.

  2. Any experience of different cultures that a student can have would benefit them.  I would check with the exchange program though as some have rules about taking students out of the country and for how long they can be gone.  Skiing in Europe, she is lucky to have such a generous host family. Good luck!
