I'm working on a site and some of the banner ads are covering actual content in the layout. Is it acceptable to use css to block out the banner ads without violating their rules and regulations? I read the T&C and found nothing saying you may not remove ads, however, I may have missed something. Thanks muchly :)

  1. They require you to have ads if you are a free member. If they find out, they will most likely terminate your account or ask you to remove the CSS.

  2. they wont allow you to remove bannerads.its better to get a professional webhosting.I am using bluehost webhosting for mine

  3. Why use Tripod when you can do all that it offers legitimately and freely without ads? Easiest way to create a free website is with Microsoft Office Live Small Business - http://rubyurl.com/xTSt . It has a free design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. It has no ads and has 500mb of web space. This is not just for business websites, works great for other kinds of sites. MS is giving a free domain name for the 1st year.

  4. Yes, they're able to provide free hosting through selling ad space. If you don't like the ads, then purchase your own hosting.
