  1. There are no laws as stated above and I have done this for many of my customers and I usually do it on the passengers side floor board between the frame so that they can store their valuables and pull the floor mat over, works very well.


  2. There are no laws like that in the state of FL. I know a few cars actually have compartments like those. My moms old SUV had a compartment in the back where you could hide things so they wouldn't be stolen.

  3. There is no law about hidden compartments! There are actually some good legal reasons you would want one. If you travel, you may want a place to hide your valuables from theft. You may want to play James Bond! You may want to hide pictures of your girlfriend from your wife, or pictures of your wife from your girlfriend.

    As long as you do not use the compartment for illegal items you have not broken any law!
