Is it against the law to drive without a driver's side view mirror in DC?

The driver's side side view mirror was knocked off in an accident. Can I still drive my car legally without it?

Go to the auto store and buy the glue and put it back on.  It doesnt matter how it fell off you'll still get a ticket.  Its illegal in every state.

I think you will find a law that says for the car to be legally on the road, all the safety features originally on the car must be functioning.

Go get it fixed, you will not pass a safety inspection without a side view mirror.
